According to data in website of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the industrial profits in 22 regions amounted to RMB894.14b in the first half of 2009, down 21.2% year-on-year, and the decreasing rate was 3.4 percentage points lower than that in the first five months.
Within 39 branches of industrial sectors, the profits of 27 industrial sectors increased in recovery or the decreasing rate reduced. Of the total, the profits of non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry stood at RMB13.91b, increasing RMB4.98b over the first five months; that of oil processing and coking industry amounted to RMB41.14b, with an increase of 193.3% year-on-year; that of chemical fiber industry declined 4.6%, while the decrease in the first five months is 30.7%; that of electric power industry gained RMB7.7b, increasing RMB2.34b over first five months; that of special equipment manufacturing industry boomed 4.4% year-on-year, and the increasing rate was up by 1.7 percentage points over the first five months; that of transportation equipment manufacturing industry reduced 1.1%, while the decrease in the first five months is 7.2%; that of iron and steel industry decreased 85.0%.
The main business revenue of industry in 22 regions reached RMB17.9719t, increasing 0.4% year-on-year, while that in the first five months declined 0.3%.
By the end of June, the industrial accounting receivable in 22 regions has been RMB3.30661t, up 9.1% year-on-year, and the increasing rate has increased 0.5 percentage point month-on-month. The funds of finished goods amounted to RMB1.61649t, up 2.8% year-on-year, and the increasing rate dropped 2.7 percentage points month-on-month.
