Taiwan Cement, Taiwan's largest cement company, will further invest $100 million in its wholly owned subsidiary in Jurong, Jiangsu province, the Digital Cement website reported on Wednesday.
The Taiwan cement maker plans to expand its production facilities and to build a new dry-processing production line in the subsidiary, with an annual output capacity of 2.2 million metric tons.
Taiwan Cement will raise its annual production capacity to 50 million tons on the mainland, Chairman Koo Cheng-yun said in an interview last year.
It has established cement plants in South China's Guangdong, Guangxi and Fujian.
